The latest update has broken your mods - are you able to fix/update them? Cheers.
is there any solution to it
?
Personally I waited since release for performance fixes to buy GK, so I've skipped mods so far.
The developers changed archive format to IOStore and there are currently no modding tools capable of working with this format.
As such, any mods that can be made directly in Unreal Engine, like texture/mesh/model mods, can be packaged directly out of UE int he proper format.
Any mods that manipulated data in .uasset files can not be updated, because there are no tools for working with the new IOStore format yet. So, a vast majority of the mods on Nexusmods will never see an update. As is the case with my mod.
And most mods have very little to do with performance improvement. For instance, the Legendary weapons now are just as hideous as they've always been and since the game's transmog system is incomplete and doesn't allow you to change weapon appearance, my mod made all Legendary/Epic weapons use the skins from the Rare/Uncommon weapons. Had the game had a fully functional transmog system, I wouldn't have felt coimpelled to make that mod, but it did not.
If you want to continue to use mods, you can downgrade your version of the game, using the steps shown here: (I have personally been using a downgraded version since February)
https://www.makeuseof.com/how-to-downgrade-steam-games/
- Here's the command you can just pop into the console to get the proper version:
download_depot 1496790 1496791 5286474853811231006
Copy all the files from this download folder into you game folder (assuming you have already installed the latest patch), replacing any existing files.
Then delete/move/rename everything in "Paks" except "pakchunk0-WindowsNoEditor.pak"
Do not delete anything from the patched game install like they seem to be suggesting at the end of the document. The old download you'll be getting from the console is not a complete version of the game, so you want to use it's files to overwrite the updated versions, but still keep the contents that are not overwritten. You only want to delete, hide or move everything in the .Paks folder except "pakchunk0-WindowsNoEditor.pak" because the game will continue to try use the .utoc and .ucas if they are present, which won't allow mods.
So all the traversal mods have been done for a few monthsl ol
