Cyberpunk 2077 is grateful
Thank you for taking the throne as the new worst launch of a video game.
Based on the fact that 90% of comments are complaints, I'll just wait a year until they fix the game. One person in the reviews actually compared this to Avengers, which is probably the worst insult you could ever make.

Was really looking forward to this. But it looks like this got cyberpunked.

Cyberpunk isn't close to the worst. You should've seen the release state of some old MMO's like Anarchy Online.

Are you stupid
SayneX Oct 21, 2022 @ 7:06pm
you sound like a clown because cyberpunk had wayyyy more hype over it and it was worse in literally everything to where it wasn't even playable for most. I played it fine with some bugs that prevented me from finishing missions and other things but i have a high end pc so i didn't feel the crime that most had to deal with. If gotham knights got removed from the playstation store due to how bad it is then we can sit here and say cyberpunk 2077 is grateful oh and the hype surrounding it from the beginning of just a teaser announcement of a new ip. smh

I also feel sorry for him, for the latest Matrix movie, man, that was crap.

New World... Super Power 3... No mans Sky, Fallout 76 Big Rigs Over the road Racing.. This is hardly the worst launch ever.

I enjoyed both No Mans Sky and Cyberpunk 2077 at release....... Arkham Knight started off way worse, but ended up working fine. I get what your saying, Definitely tired of game studios releasing half finished work so I'm with you on that. And I get that you would prefer a refund only to buy it again once they fixed it. But the comparison to cyberpunk that's a bit extreme. Maybe you shouldn't repeat things people say even if you personally think they sound cool. Maybe think things out before you write them for the public to read.:batlogo:

Arkham Knight is way worse. It seems like Warner Bros can't do proper PC releases and optimizations.

Developer: Warner Bros Montreal
THERE's your problem.

Cyberpunk ran better for me at launch on my 3080 and the gameplay was superior imo... CDPR just made the mistake of releasing for previous gen consoles, which this game did not.

Cyberpunk 2077 is good games than Gotham Knight

Holy hell, yes. Just reading that triggered me. Me and my friend had been playing AC when it came out and we were looking for something new. AO was an unmitigated disaster! You couldn't change zones, rubber banding everywhere.

Another epic launch failure that literally killed a franchise was Tribes 2. Tribes 2 came out before online patches were as easy to make and distribute like they are now and it didn't work out of the box for like 80% of the people who bought it. Tribes would have been up there with UT and Quake as all timers for FPS, might have killed Unreal Tournament, but they never recovered from that launch.

Anyways, thanks for the trip down memory lane, and yes, fair point, there are much worse launch scenarios than GK and CP. Point well made. (this still is a bad launch though)

Cyberpunk is bugged to the point it was unplayable at launch... I got it at launch when I had a 2080. I can tell Cyberpunk was way worse in condition compared to Gotham Knights

I played it at launch, it ran fine and I think I beat it or got super close. I stopped cause I wanted to wait for more mods to come out. Now I'm just waiting for the DLC. There was a lot wrong with it, but I never really had to worry about cops and I never even noticed some of the issues with traffic until it was pointed out in a YT video. Luckily, I didn't follow the hype and didn't really expect that much. I can't wait to get back into it after it gets a few more updates and more mods are developed for the new modding system.

Yeah let's not tout Cyberpunk as an example of anything good please.
