I know how it sounds but I assure you it's still selectable. It even changes the render resolution from 100 (fully off) to 90 so you know the setting is working.
Not sure why the game is coded this way but it is.
I feel like I'm missing something or you are running the game on Windows or something else. I have played with the settings for hours and I can't seem to get over 30 fps no matter what I set it to. Tried the same settings listed above and I'm looking at 25 -30 fps still. Are you playing as a different character in a confined area? I started as Batwoman and the area I'm in is brutal on performance especially when going throughout the city.
There more adjustments that what you mentioned, could you give a rundown of each setting?
I can't explain why it works but it does for me. I wonder if there's some weird ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ going on with the game's settings config and this helps it for whatever reason.
I'm playing on Steam OS, my fps does drop to around 21-25 at times but most of the time it's between 30 and 45. I'm not doing anything special and I'm playing in outdoor and indoor spaces. It doesn't make any sense but it does actually work for me. The only other thing I can think of is to regularly restart the game / Steam Deck itself.
Yeah, Ive noticed if you change ANY graphic setting at all, you have to restart the game. Changing a setting and going straight back to the game makes it run like hot garbage, but the reset cleans it up.
Don't forget some may be playing on Steam Deck internal storage vs expanded so maybe that is the difference?
I'll take 21 fps at times over the 12 fps I was getting on low settings.
It makes no sense but the settings I posted work better for me than all lowest options.
Yea that's where I'm at and after that when you get to more open areas its like 20-25 fps with even more dips.
Honestly, this is the best set of specs for me so far. I'm currently playing with my SD docked and it isn't even running too hard. Also, undocked I get a tad over two hours of battery life which is GREAT considering! Thank you.
