Performance Aside, can we talk about how the controller prompts and inputs fail?

So, the button prompts on screen give you numbers instead of buttons which is confusing. It sometimes changes but immediately changes. Its off

Trying to use the controller to navigate menus is awful. It skips inputs so you have to use the keyboard to get to the right tab or setting. Is anyone having this issue?

I haven't seen this issue, but I haven't tried it with a controller either.

change what exactly? the prompts or the fact the navigation (like left and right or bumpers) dont work properly in menus?

I have this exact issue. There is no apparent way to choose button icons. I even tried to disable everything but Xbox controller input in the Steam Controller settings under the game's properties.

Edit: I was wrong. The button icon setting is in General, at the bottom. However, double inputs are still a thing, but at least it doesn't flicker.

Inverting the camera also doesn't work at all with an xbox controller. Very frustrating. I''m also getting the double inputs you're describing.

To get rid of double inputs I changed the controller settings for the game from Properties -> Controller to Enable Steam Input. It fixed it entirely. Hope that fixes it for you!

for me was the other way around, i had to disable Steam Input.
