How I fixed my black screen when trying to launch the game.

So I was experiencing a black screen when i was launching and wanted to provide what helped me for others.
This is no guarantee but it did work for me so may for you.

First issue has something to do with overlays.
Nvidia users this is easy to disable open Gefore experience setting disable overlay.

This is also occurring with the discord overlay. Go on google lookup disable discord overlay and follow steps.

This could possible happen with steam overlay enabled as well. Again google disable steam overlay.

Lastly and this makes no sense if you use one of the virtual surround sound (Spatial) apps like
Dolby Atmos for headphones
DTX for headphones
or Windows sonic

Disable those also.

As i said it worked for me and a couple others i spoke to. Disable any overlays you might have even if the app is not up the overlay may still be on.Apps with overlays like discord, NVIDIA, Steam, Overwolf etc.

Mine was NVIDIA but my friends was the discord overlay. When you launch games do you get a pop up in the upper right hand corner a green pop up from NVIDIA? Then you have NVIDIA overlay.
When you are playing games can you see your discord friends talk over the top of your game. Then you have a Discord overlay. Etc. Disable those one at a time till it launches.

Have you updated your Video card drivers? Do you reach Minimum specs? Try alt Ctrl delete disable anything and everything launch the game look in resource manager when it crashes is it turning red? What stat mem cpu which ones red?

Try setting your graphics resolution to 1080 p or 720 p then launch it has the ability to read your hardware and set the setting auto. However it can only go as high as the resolution windows has set. Does this work for you if so its a resource issue. play at lower settings etc. Verify the integrity of the download it could be corrupt. reboot the PC. Power it down remove the power cable from both ends take a walk 10 mins come back in reboot. Cntrl alt delete disable everything in startup then reboot. Each situation is different depending on resources etc.

nope still didnt work i have a 3090 and i9 11th gen my pc is good please if you can help i can give you money

32 gb ram 4200 speed yes tried verifying

Did you reboot afterwards? did you make sure your drivers are up to date? Did you watch task manger resource monitor when you press play to see whats causing the lock up?

yes nothings turns red besides cpu for when i boot then it goes back down
