There's actually load times are you joking.
Unlike Arkham Knight this game has load screens, like 20 second load screens to enter buildings like the GCPD, what the actual hell they seriously can't have a seamless world even though the last gen versions got cancelled.

Well seeing as how alot of these will be raids or dungeons kind of like most RPG's with the same situation the level is probably bigger than the building. Just like if you played DC Universe Online. You walk up to a building to do a mission or a dungeon but you have to load, and when going through you can clearly see the level is much bigger than the building.

Don't want load times? Make your own game and see how easy it is.

The game you are referring to is over 10 years old. Are you sure that's a good comparison.
The fact of the matter is, these developers don't understand how to utilize limitations.
You don't need a loading screen if the building/dungeon is loaded in segments.

You enter from a door, this loads the hall. Till you are able to progress to the end of that room it loads the "dungeon" and unloads most part of the overworld, there might be some obstacle that prevents doing it immediately as to make sure it has actually loaded.

But no, the developers would rather choose loading screens... because of what reason exactly? I wouldn't want to go armchair dev but all of it is just baffling and I'm just parroting how Arkham Knight did it on ps4. And that console didn't have an SSD yet somehow managed. :ds1_lol:

So zero though process okay let me explain this for stupid people in Arkham Knight there's no load screens everything is seamless your never taken out the game world let's take the GCPD you can drive the Bat Tank as fast as you can into there and everything loads as your moving, all this and the games first limited by the Xbox One original all streaming on a HDD now we have Gotham Knights a game running in a SSD and let's be honestly a less detailed open world that has let geometry complexity geometry can't even do this, at what point do you click on this is a complete joke and realise how incompetent the devs are working on Gotham Knights.

Clearly you can't read Arkham Knight let's you drive into the GCPD all while in game all while the next lead is steamed in all this on a HDD in a game first limited by the Xbox One original
Gotham Knights has fast SSD's to load from and can't manage a seamless open world and Arkham Knight was over five years ago, i could not explain this any clearer how incompetent
the devs are making Gotham Knights.

It does not matter if it is 10 years old the majority of games including open world use loading screens it is standard practice even today. A simple search will tell you why most games use loading screens. You made this comment acting like even today in 2022 it’s not standard practice to have loading screens. Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA V, Skyrim, ESO, Elden Ring, Ghost Recon Breakpoint and many more. Sure there are game that do not use loading a lot of them being single player games.

JorRaptor made a great point. Remember this game originally also targeted PS4 and Xbox One. They only this year said it would not include those consoles. So under the hood, this game might still be running on a system designed for old console hardware.

This is like complaining that you need to use your hands to pick up food.

So games without abrupt loading screens are the equivalent of picking up food without using your hands??? Your comment doesn't make any logical sense sir.
