will DL and test now...

Here is the patch notes
======================
Game Ready Drivers provide the best possible gaming experience for all major new releases. Prior to a new title launching, our driver team is working up until the last minute to ensure every performance tweak and bug fix is included for the best gameplay on day-1.

Game Ready

This new Game Ready Driver provides the best day-0 gaming experience for Sackboy: A Big Adventure, which features ray-traced reflections, shadows, and ambient occlusion effects and utilizes NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution for up to 2.5x faster performance. In addition, this new Game Ready Driver offers support for Victoria 3, WRC Generations – The FIA WRC Official Game, and the addition of DLSS 3 to F1 22.

No Mention of Gotham Knights, So I dont expect anything to happen.

RESULTS =
Ok testing the NEW Nvidia driver v526.47
(Tested after running DDU and removing ALL traces of previous driver from system)

Tested on
Asus Tuf 3090Ti 24GB @2.1Ghz
AMD Ryzen 9 3900x @4.7Ghz All cores
32GB 3600Mhz System RAM
Windows 11 v21H2 Build 22000.978

@3840x1080 Resolution

@MAX Settings / RTX ON / DLSS ON Quality Preset
FPS is Identical to the previous v522.25 Nvidia driver (30-70FPS depending on location in the city), BUT it does feel much smoother.
Eg I can jump from the tallest building to the ground and grapple my back up with no visable lagging or jerking :D this is huge for me.

The game is still only using 40-50% GPU thou, So still more performance to be had will likely come in the form of bug fix's from WB. Fingers crossed.

(My system has a custom water loop and stays on boost under max load there is no heat related problems here)

I even want back to 522.25 and it’s the same, Whatever those new drivers did it made the game alot worse.

Oh, don't scare me Ghosty74. :-D I just downloaded and installed that driver update today. My game was running pretty well yesterday now that all my shaders are compiled and ray-tracing is off. I don't need no driver incompatibility guff, haha! I'm scared to check.

Okay I did a clean install of 522.25 and it’s back to the way it was. I guess I won’t be updating to any new nvidia drivers until I am completely done playing this game.

No difference to my FPS or the stuttering down from 90 to 110 fps tp 50/60 occasionally.

I've noticed after an hour or so of gameplay that the stuttering worsens. It seems good at the beginning of play time (despite the occasional and sudden 20 to 30fps frame loss, depending on location) then the game needs a restart.

Yer I only tested for 10mins so cant comment on that. I dont intend on playing until it works good (I want to have a good experience and my epilepsy requires me to game with a stable FPS)

@XGSDonkyBoY
0kay I did what you did and used ddu and uninstalled all nvidia drivers from my pc and reinstalled(clean install) the 526.47 driver, and it seems to be the same(ish) as it was with 522.25 driver.
So umm yeah crisis averted…
Kaljal Oct 27, 2022 @ 6:45pm
I've got no problems 60-90 fps rtx off, dlss balanced, all other settings set to highest I'm playing with RTX 2060, 2560x1440 res I rarely saw fps drops to 50 but thats all %90 of time it stay between 60-90 fps
TRON Oct 27, 2022 @ 7:01pm
It is the crappy game not the drivers.
OKJaye Oct 27, 2022 @ 7:04pm
same FPS was horrible with new driver, but fine after I did a roll back. Now that I see this thread my feeling feel extra confirmed.
