Are mods allowed in co op?

I play together with my son and wondered if modding the game is allowed or if there has been any official response?
I'm not sure if it has any protection for modified files built in or not but I've seen a few mods on nexus like the batman suit for Nightwing and don't want to risk if any kind of enforcement is involved.

As long as it's strictly visual, you shouldn't have any issues. It's general best practice to stay away from any kind of modding for multiplayer, but there hasn't been any official word from the devs. Players freely talk about using and implementing mods in single player on the GK discord and have yet to face any kind of repercussions so I'd say you're safe to use them.

id guess no as long as it doesn't affect the game play itself visuals should be fine but not 100% sure
