Dynamic duos and all that. Plus, I will admit, I kind of prefer it. It's easier to get one committed friend that a entire group together. And this isn't a game I'd want to play with Random people.

Let us not forget how screwed up Avengers was with 4 heroes on screen throwing out skills left and right. So many particle effects popping off that it was hard too see what you were hitting. 2 player co-op will hopefully make it a bit less of a resource hog and an eyesore.

The main problem is with this game is that it is going to exactly like the Avengers and loaded with micro transactions. The devs are tight lip and the publisher already knows it's going to fail and have moved on to another project already.

It's cash grab that was made to compete with the Avengers game, but we all know how that went and so do the devs.. They wanted to cancel it, but they already canceled 3 projects before this title...

The first one was superman, Then the Damian Wayne one so they decided to do this with a Avengers micro transactions system..

If you listen to the devs all they focus on is skins you can buy... "We wanted to focus making skins that you want to have a statuette on your desk irl."

I hope I am wrong, but I am usually not.

I dont care about MTs because i never touch them. What i care about is multiplayer which would not be as fun as i though. I like 4 co op games but since this wont be one of those i will just forget about it

The downfall of marvel avengers is that 4 charecter forced down your throat "co op " Arrangement.

Thats the reason I bought it , played it for an hour and gave up on it. Too chaotic and ruins the fun. And I only play co op games.

This is a legit Argument , But I digress I do believe the developers that there won't be any unnecessary micro transactions, lol , I have to after preordering the Deluxe edition on 3 accounts xD

Did the devs specifically say why its only 2 player co-op? I mean I get the whole 'too much going on with 4 people' argument, but this isnt Avengers. The missions are also nothing like avengers, so you wont be running around circling a small area defending A and B, or battling through tight AIM corridors. The world seems way more open and the verticality is immense. They even said you can play in hosts world and not even run into them. So why only 2 players then? I feel like they could've pulled off 4 player co op no problem. Its just kinda weird that theres 4 playable knights and only 2 people can play at a time
