Black Screen (Unplayable)
I was trying to play this game on Parsec with friends, and every time we hit start game the countdown would happen, but we'd immediately be launched into a black screen. The only two items on screen were the room code and the website link in the top corners. The options menus also seemed off - only one option was visible at a time.

After the Parsec session ended, I closed it down and tried again only to get the same results. I verified the game integrity and even tried installing the game on a different drive with the exact same results.

Looking at the log file, I have an inclination to what might be wrong

The directory C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/WhatTheDub/WhatTheDub_Data/Mono/ does not exist. This folder does not exist even though Steam says that my install was validated.

OS: Windows 10

I am very sorry you are having an issue with the game. From the logs there appears to be some issue occurring between the game engine and your GPU when playing back video files.

A couple of things that you can try:

- Ensure that your graphic card's drivers are up to date
- Open the Nvidia Control Panel, Select "Manage 3d Settings" and Click "Restore"
- Make sure you are up to date with your Windows updates
- Lower the resolution of the game to 1920x1080 in the games settings

If none of these help - please let me know so that we can determine next steps in troubleshooting your issue.

Also if you have access to another computer, it would be worth a try running the game on it.
