My Camp?
I have told a couple characters to wait for me at my camp but they don't go anywhere. And where is said camp? Is this a feature not implemented yet?

I have been wondering this myself. I think this is a feature that hasn't yet been implemented.

Likely part of the main quest line, which hasn't been added into the current Steam build.

The camp is still a ways away on the Dev roadmap. Not yet implemented.

the player camps on the chart seem to be a month or two out still, special features involving the camp being added I think the month after. Lot of new stuff ahead of us, as excited as I am for new things I'll be fine waiting for the next content patch for the steam version. Getting impatient does nobody any good after all

per dev reply on my review: steam will see updates *quarterly*. You would need to be a patreon member to get monthly builds. Based on that, it would be June at the earliest.

LOL there has been many updates since this post. Last one was march 11th this year.
