That's probably all, for now. The CI Team post below is from a couple of months ago. I haven't actually checked in the game, but I don't recall seeing anything in the update notes about new playable forms being added.

I just posted a reply to your other post, but if "higher tier" in your earlier post was referring to demi-draconid (human body with draconid head), there is a male option in my game. If you really don't have that option, I would have Steam verify the game files, just in case your files are somehow incomplete. Other than that, I have no idea why you wouldn't have that option.
There you go. You're not the first person to be confused about the versions. I'll be glad when they switch them, so at least the default here will be the current (UE5) version.
Just to explain a bit, they started development with Unreal Engine 4 (UE4), but then switched to UE5 last year for all future development. But since the UE5 version had less content (and may still have less), they decided to make it available using Steam's Betas feature, so people had to "opt in" to play it. When they feel like the UE5 version has come far enough, they plan to switch them. Until then, we sometimes get people, like you, that came along later and have no idea about the two versions, so they end up playing the older (UE4) version and have no idea about the other version (unless they read the update announcement posts).
Anyway, no, I don't think there's any way to transfer your save. The two versions have completely different content (set in different parts of the game world, at different points in the story, with different quests), and different game mechanics (like some magic/sorcery in the UE5 version). So I'm guessing that the save files are incompatible. For what it's worth, they plan to add the area in the UE4 version to the UE5 version eventually.
Just an FYI ...
The UE4 version sort of dropped you into the middle of the story. The UE5 starts at the beginning. You start as a "formless" (neither male nor female, and completely covered from head to toe). Once you leave the first area (Heifer's Reach) and reach Tal-Senet, you can get eventually get the Masquerade quest, which gives you access to a "shrine" where you can unlock different forms.
Not at this point. At least, I can't think of any quests that unlock forms. Once you get access to the shrine, you pay "essence" (which you can get from a couple of places, including killing enemies) to unlock the available forms.
Correct. Some forms don't have a male version at this point. I think the list in the post that I linked earlier is still accurate.
