At this point there is more to do in the UE4 version (more quests, random NPC's, etc.), but that will change as the UE5 version is updated.

Yeah, they really should put the UE5 instructions in their pinned FAQ or another pinned topic. I was playing before they added the UE5 version, so I saw the announcements saying that it was coming, but I can see how people that started playing later might not even be aware of it (in the same way that I did not go back and read announcements that were posted long before I started playing, because they were presumably all about stuff that was already in the game).
I assume that you're talking about one of the posts in the Events & Announcements section. The thing is, people that start playing the game now may not think to look at "news" from last year, and it would probably never occur to most that there are two versions of the game.
To put it another way, why not have a more prominent notice about the two versions of the game, and how to switch between them, instead of hoping that people will read old posts?
For a returning user, you're wrong.
A decent amount of people complaing about UE5 seem to be returning users who aren't reading the update notes.
But yes, they should have updated the Store Page to mention UE5 around 10 months ago when they released the first UE5 build.
