Oh, and you should be able to delete your "rant" topic.
i just started the UE5 version about a couple hours ago
the only complaint so far is we still
-can't set wave points on the map
-what's up with not using the ladders
-I really missed the old way of saving the game, had to rush to find the nearest fireplace before taking my son to work
The UE5 for now it's just a beautiful almost empty land.
Beautiful but just empty.
I did all I coould in about 6-8 hours of play and that's all it has to offer at the moment.
I got no bugs at all but the content is very very minimal. I just came up on some rocks floating above the ground that is clearly a minor building issue.
Perhaps the real problem of the Devs is this: having mainly two different games, not 2 versions. So They must work on both robbing one the time for the other.
I wish They finally make a choice and close one of the versions to focus working on just what would be the real project.
Another quick point: we have slavery now being introduced. I really hope you will also enjoy the choice to be a slave rather then a slaver as the thing for sure could be more intriguing.
If you're talking about the UE4 and UE5 versions, they're (presumably) not working on the UE4 version anymore. It hasn't been updated in almost a year.
When they switched to UE5 last year, they said that all future development would ultimately be in that version, although they would do a little more with the UE4 version. They did release one more update (I think it was just one) that added a little content and tried to fix some bugs, but, like I said, that was almost a year ago. I assume that they've been focused on the UE5 version since then.
