Start a game, kill a few guards and find an article of clothing, enter inventory to equip said piece, and THEN.... CANNOT RETURN TO THE F'ING GAME... Have to alt-tab and manually shut down the game..

Start a new game, kill a few guards etc..... SAME F'ING THING...
Start ANOTHER new game... SAME F'ING THING...

What a complete load of garbage... No option but to get a refund on this crap...

It is right up there for posts I see of people asking for a cheat engine for the game. I think I am done wanting to be around people now.

Granted, my first instinct is to press ESC to leave the inventory screen and return to the game. That's the universal ESCape key to get out of whatever menu you are in. In this game, that key works some places and in other places it doesn't.

But yeah when that doesn't work, reading the screen is too hard for many. And they instantly resort to a nuke from orbit.

No I didn't as at the bottom it says to use Esc, however I just tried it and it did not work. I get trapped in the menu screen. Alternating between Inventory screen, Map screen, and a total black screen....

Not sure what the black screen would be, but that early in the game you shouldn't be getting any armor. As a formless you cannot equip it anyway. You will only be able to wear armor of any type once you have fought the Kethra shade a second time and have picked a form.

I went back ingame and tried R, it also did nothing, as I said.. and nowhere did I see any mention of pressing R ingame..

Well please forgive me YOUR HIGHNESS, but normally when you buy and install a game the version that installs is meant to be IN WORKING ORDER.

Beta branch, experimental, etc are OPTIONAL until they become the standard/main version. Therefore I expected the game that downloaded and installed to actually F'ing work.

Now considering that this Beta version, or whatever, is still somewhat recent.. are you honestly telling me that NOBODY has played this until that version was released..?

Finally, as for "no help", I never asked you for f'ing help, however, since I now know for a fact that the STANDARD version IS in fact CRAP and I am very close to the two hour cutoff for refund I have no time to even check this other version, so I will be requesting a refund on this garbage...

So what did you try pressing to back out? Strange that everyone else can use ESC, and you could not.

Considering it is posted everhwere this is pre-alpha ... again you are the only one to experience this "trapped in the inventory screen".
