Is there a way to view punching damage?
Playing as a paladin and I'm finding it really hard to determine whether or not my fists would be doing more damage than my main actual weapons. I'm not really sure if using fists as a paladin is meant to be viable, or if punching (as a last resort) is just a bit better than other characters.

Yeah I don't think you can see the actual damage of your fists in the tooltip. Paladin has a perk that enhances your bash and unarmed damage relatively to your defence. You'll just have to do a bit of testing I guess. The real question is ; why would you use something other than your mighty meat mortars to purge the unclean anyway ^^ ?
Seriously though, if you want to throw really solid hands, you should try the Monk class, it feels really good.

Paladin was exactly what I was playing actually! I got a couple pieces of armor that increase my fist damage, along with some really good claws, *and* I got tons of defense upgrades. I was trying to gauge if my fists at that point would be leagues better than my weapons or not. Kinda hard to tell how multipliers and whatnot stack in this game without a direct fist damage number to view.
