Maximum player count too low

Will it ever be possible to have more than 36 players on a server? I can't be the only one to think it's a bit on the low side, especially in 1v1v1

Player pop is a bit low yeah, but it's stil fun.
There is one server that always has like 20 players, but I find it weird that they play 1v1v1 instead of only 2 teams vs. It could be more fun if both teams are full.
