Kobold Tech Rune doesn't work?

As the title says. For some reason the rune doesn't work for me?

I equipped the rune staff as well as the Kobold Tech Rune and I just swing my staff and nothing happens?

Maybe I do it wrong.

Anybody knows?

I have the same issue. Even tried my save file on another computer : same thing.
You can however complete the fourth dungeon. It's a bit tricky but you can dash to the platform on the right bottom (on your screenshot).

Ok thanks, so it's not me using it wrong. ^^
Yea, i know. But now i'm stuck in the 6th dungeon. Because it seems it's really nessecary there to cross a gap. :(

I guess we'll have to wait for a fix then. :P

That's strange, it works fine for me. I just point it in the general direction of the block and it pulls me across.

Huh? You're playing on PC as well, right? I mean the Steam Version?
That's strange indeed... I'm pointing at the stones as well and Aironheart is just swinging the staff and nothing else happens, it doesn't even take 1 of the Mana Orbs. :(

Yes, I'm playing the Steam version on PC. The Kobold Tech Rune doesn't require any Mana for use.

You might want to try backing up your save data and reinstalling the game. Saves are located at %appdata%\..\local\airoheart\saved\savegames\ for me.

I tryed to reinstall the game but it still doesn't work.
I don't get it why it works for you. :(

Edit: You had the rune from 'Mandy' from the forest, right? Do I need to do anything else after it to get it work?

Otherwhise I guess there's some other bug or my save file is corrupted for any reason...

OMG... I found out what caused the Bug...

If you tick the box "Day-One Companion" in the settings the gobline tech rune doesn't work anymore.

If he's not with you, it works. Lul... But good that I noticed that you're not using the companion in your vid. xD

That's weird, I didn't even know that was a thing! I bought the game day one, but I don't have that option... Glad you got it figured out though!

It's a "DLC" which you were able to aquire. I guess if you didn't you don't have the option.
Yea, i'm happy that i can continue playing it. :) Without the staff the 6th Dungeon is not completable.

Today's update adds a new bug with the kobold tech rune.
If you use it while you have no target, a textbox with a hint opens.
The problem is, that I cannot close that textbox and I have to shut down the whole game.
That's annoying...

Ouch, sad to hear. For me the update changed nothing, it's working fine as far as i deactivate the companion. :/
But I already completed the game by now. ^^

I hope it get's fixed asap since for some ppl the textbox is even game crashing...
