When I got to take a photo at player one of the games, the captured trends do not show up???? I'm confused... is it on the tree to capture them?

I think it might work only trend that be able to capture like person or event,also you can check that by open the phone and look for the trends tag that have phone icon at the end of the tag

Ahhhh I see. I figured it out. With the new updat you have to have it in your hand to capture the #.

As has been said before, in the new update you need to be holding the game to have the trend captured. In previous versions capturing games in the background was seen as a little exploit, because people filled the house with games to get them captured in all the videos.

It is working as intended, what you say, that the trend shows as captured in the phone, maybe are the list of currect active trends, not trends you've captured.

I understand the differences in updates regarding taking photos with video games, but I'm struggling with location type of trends. For example, I have a golden trend for #Port, I took a photo in the Port and it won't show up. I can't understand why.

I also forgot to mention, I just noticed - but it applies to a lot of trends. I was holding the Watchcats game and took a photo, I didn't realize that it didn't actually register even tho it says the photo has the trend. The trend only registered when I made a gameplay about it. I know my grammar is bad rn, sorry, but my point is - the #Port trend, isn't in any videos AT ALL. It didn't register, period nor the games.

Taking a photo anywhere in the port scene should add the #Port trend to the photo, as shown here:

(it won't be added to the photo if it is grey like in the screenshot).

The #Port trend is not capturable, this is that it is only usable in pics, recording points or streaming points, you can't take it home to add it to any other video.

Capturable trends are shown in the phone screen with a phone icon like #FamousYoutuber in this screenshot:
