I do not have the option to upgrade my pc

I am on like the 14th day, i found like 4 or 5 usb drives and i bought some ram from the store to upgrade my PC but there are no options for upgrading my PC in my home at all like it shows in other's tutorials on youtube. Please help. I don't understand, do i have to go further in the game or is my game bugged.

if i need to upload my game save i need help finding it, i'm out of state playing off my cloud save on a different computer.

If I remember right, then the option to upgrade the PC only appears after the first PC component breaks and you get a quest to replace it. This first component break usually happens around Playcon, meaning you will have to wait 1-2 ingame weeks.

i unlocked it during playcon, it was very confusing because i thought my feature to upgrade was just missing from the game. Maybe it should say somewhere that you dont unlock the ability to upgrade pc until that point, or remove the ability to buy pc parts before the 25th day. I had bought parts weeks ago in game and had a dozen usb drives that just took up space in my chest!
