Bugs and Weird, Frustrating, Questionable Designs

Since the Devs don't even care to add a Bug Report and Suggestions topic. Let me do it myself.

Feel free to add more.

Bugs

• Auto video editing is completely broken and unusable. It will always edit and publish the previous video instead of the one you choose
  
  
• Scooter minigame sometimes suggests you failed despite I hit nothing.
  
  
• The trigger of the storage is dreadful, the press space to open storage option will only show up at a very specific angle facing the storage.
  
  
• Obtaining the Analysis script first will prevent players from getting the First Impression script (by yerayv)

Weird, Frustrating, Questionable Designs

• The in-game time passes way too fast. It should be around 25% - 50% slower.
  
  
• After you equip a scooter, it will magically disappear once you talk to someone or enter a building. What's the point of using a scooter when I spend more time on finding one than actually traveling with it?
  
  
• It is harder to get 5 stars in videos as you progress in video type level. I understand the Devs expect players to use higher rarity reaction cards as they progress but this design is just stupid. 5/5 stars give players an impression that he made a perfect video while it is not the case.
  
  
• A lot of controls, game mechanics are not/vaguely explained. Yes, I understand some of them should be obvious at the first glance, but remember, "obvious" or not is very subjective. And this game also targets children. You see, even as easy as Mario mini-games have a simple pop-up telling you what are you supposed to do next.

Congrats UPLAY, U PLAYED yourself. Given only 1 out of 6 games you have developed con be called a success, and this game is supposed to be the sequel of your ONLY successful project, I thought you guys will focus on the quality of the game. But no!!! Instead, you spend a noticeable amount of budget to put real, famous Youtubers into the game.

And the results show. The game sucks on the current stage, mediocre at best.

I know about those. It is just super weird that making videos are progressively harder as you move forward naturally, instead of the other way around.

Another point for This list Analysis Script Block First impresion Script BUG
You will see, in the first playcon I did not get First Impression, so I waited for the second but when I left they gave me analysis, the thing is that now, I can't do the stream that they ask me for First Impression since you get analysis in their place.

I have one and it really weird, so i started to date DJ fox and invite him to live with me and when he did he was invisible when he at your house by everywhere else he not.

update: I quit and load the game and it fixed and while I'm here why don't this game have a manually save feature.

honestly i have never had issues with time management in this game, if it's 25-50% slower i think i'd dislike it, maybe that'd be best as an option in your phone or something if that's added

idk where people get the idea that they spent all their money on youtubers, we don't have access to their financials

i like the game a lot so far, feels better than the first one, just frustrating lack of tutorial and information in-game imo

We don't have access to their financials obviously, but they have already done similar things for their previous games (e.g. Esports Life Tycoon) and it has already proven that formula is not what players want. I thought the Devs would have learned that lesson. Well, clearly not!!!

This game has a new general concept compared to its predecessor and I like it. Yet, there are a lot of things that are weirdly designed while some of the game mechanics are simply broken because of bugs.

I can tolerate those if it is an early access game, but it is not. It is a full-release game and it is expected that there won't be drastic changes in the game itself.

i generally still disagree with the financial thing, but yeah, the bugs are annoying, feels weird that there are so many game-breaking ones on full release

You don't get energy penalties for passing out beyond 4am. I believe at the beginning of the game they said that it would be a problem but you still wake up with full energy.

You lose items if you pass out after 4am (or not in some cases) but yes it would be logical.

I'm currently in a dead loop in AFK Tournaments (the cheater mission). Aaron and the SpiceRen Lady are just repeating their messages over and over again. I try to avoid the error now with not doing the mission, but it's a little frustrating.

A bug I've found is on streaming. Randomly while doing the streaming mini game my controller will just stop working. It's possible that I'm just bad at it and messing it up but it's really frustrating to fail at it because all the sudden the game acts like it doesn't even register that I'm pushing the right buttons.

Oh I keep getting those errors while walking outside. Always the "walk-left" trigger, no matter if I use WASD or arrows. I thought my keyboard stopped working properly.

I'm having the same problem, I can't go into AFK Bar on Sunday anymore, the cutscene starts and the mission doesn't progress, they keep repeating the same phrases and my character stands there staring endlessly.

First of all, we are really sorry you had a bad experience with your game. We also thank your feedback and for the record, some fixes are coming soon! (stay tuned)

Focusing on your bug report, most of them should disappear with the next update. Also, we'll try to change a bit some unclear cones of the scooter minigame, as most of the problems with it are not a bug but less visible cones.

About the rest of your feedback, we've been working on adding some adjustments related to tutorials, visual feedback and day and time progression so you can all enjoy the experience without having to worry about the night falling too fast.

Thank you for bringing this up.. I generally thought it was only me and was my controller or the game.. Now you have mentioned it.. I feel like it possibly might of been designed like that? Like in IRL the "Game" might go buggy.. Sounds stupid but only thing i can put my finger on.

I generally disagree with the OP in regards to In game time, 5 star Videos & Financial on youtubers etc.
Yes in game time is quite fast but i feel that might be the point where you have limited time in the day to choose whats more important to focus on.. At the point i'm at now, i find myself with half if not more energy and sleeping at around 10-11pm
If it was 50% you would get so bored of the game i feel as you will be able to do everything and post like 5 videos and you will be able to sail through the game with ease.
With spending money on the youtubers, it is what it is, Youtubers will want a cameo in the game to advertise it and to actually produce sales..

1 annoying thing I have come across is the storage for the games.. Even though i have upgraded the console & game storage max, there just isn't enough storage to store all the games and I have found myself with so many games just in the main storage box which is slightly annoying trying to find them.

My Overall opinion on YT life 2, is that its much better than YT Life 1, I really didn't take to that and got quite bored with it. There is a few things to iron out but there are in all games.
