But... you can still have fun, if you are struggling to win really badly then look up some build recommendations on youtube.
It's fun but you get almost no XP for playing against AI (if that's something you care about).
No, it's not that hard.
Play "Missions" to learn the basics. I got into it in a month, and got pretty good in two. You just need to understand what to expect, how each character works, and the overall gameflow.
Because there's no reason to play those modes, they give you nothing in return. It's pvp or nothing.
As someone who only plays in warrior class my gameplay is all about spamming m1 on deadites, there's nothing ground breaking & no skillful interactions, except you do one thing for almost 30 minutes
Also it's imbalanced as hell, if Demon player finds 1 or 2 of you alone, he/she can take both of you down with one possessed base unit, even if you kill it, they'll re-spawn another one & do it again
so the game will stay dead. I know because that's what happened when it was free on Epic & I tried it months ago, it's a saltfest.
Godspeed!
Metal Gear Survive is fun af, people hate it because "Konami bad" and Back 4 Blood is also very fun, almost every issue people had with it at launch has been patched.
