No. Steam is not to blame.
The fatal error is an Unreal engine issue. Other games have it.
And, yes. The Epic Store version suffers from it too.
Fatal errors happened about 3 times during that period.
What card? Before I was running quite low range, was running a gtx 2060 yesterday though.
The crashes are much worse on lower range to the point it froze windows without errors and you would be lucky to see a UE message window, also sometimes would just kill both, steam and the game.
I have a gtx 3060 to try when I get back to the machine and I would expect none over 5 matches.
Still, no excuse, should be handled better by game or the engine. This is the only UE game I experience those crash and can play any other UE game on lower range.
It tends to happen after all players ready then map loads and falls over.
