Why only 52 players?

According to SteamDB, only 52 players in-game now.

I wanted to buy this because I looked forward to it on Steam but with so few players (66 now), it will be hard to play multiplayer.

The game was released only 20 minutes ago. There are a lot of people who can't be home yet to buy or install the game + it's crossplay between all consoles and the Epic Store, so there's definitely more than 52 players in the game right now. Many PC players already have it on the Epic Store since it was available for free-to-keep a few months ago.

How is this the post on every new game? Give it more than 5 seconds, some people are not living in their parents basements with infinite time to play games...

It literally just came out. I'm still downloading mine as I'm sure many others are. Plus people are getting ready for work or school and others are currently sleeping.

is it matter? bruh this game is crossplay between 4 platforms , you can find a game in less then a MINUTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE XD this game for that price with all dlcs is amazing , had in on my ps5 but on pc looks way better visual

fresh release and there are more players rn since it got crossplay console and it was an epic exclusive till today
