Then you didn't see enough of the game to have an opinion that can be trusted. I am going by what the game shows, which includes a book you can read early in the game that I know you didn't even bother reading that completely debunks everything you are saying here.

Hope you realize that exorcists were a thing in history, whether you believed in them or not, priests did perform exorcisms on people. They supposedly removed bad spirits, demons, etc. That could easily be considered ghost hunting.
