cuz bringing antea back is the good ending. ( the goal is to reunite with your loved one)
also 90% of them aren't innocent they all did some messed up stuff.
and ascending her is the bad ending.
It's the other way around though.
All the game is about forgive and forget, you're supposed to let go of Anthea even though it's not fair.
This is how it seemed to me from the very first choice.
Ascension is the only real option.
Ressurection epilogue clearly hint at how mentally devastated Red and Anthea are....without adding the fact that they need to continue to kill so Antea stays alive.
