Vampyr is better. This game suffers a lot from its size and slow progression. Plus it has a crazy amount of grind of resources and gears. Poorly done mechanic.

I'm really enjoying the game as well. I wouldn't say its for everyone, but for people who love story driven games its a winner.

on PC atleast i ran now multiple times into the dissappearing savegame bug (thankfully i knew that it was around and always did 2 hardsaves minutes inbetween); which is apart from some glitches and bugs....

i liked the story, presentation and dialogue
but the gameplay i found to be very lacking
Banished is a step foreward when it comes to actual gameplay, still not great in this regard, but better
if they ever manage to create a solid combat, they could've a gold mine.
as it stands most of us play their games because of everything but the gameplay...which is a shame.

I agree. Both are great games, particularly story-wise. I also noticed and liked the nod for the Brotherhood of Saint Paul's Stole.

I might not have played enough to see how the decision making algorithm holds up. I can’t remember how the same thing in VAMPYR impacted the game either. Guess it’s time for another playthrough.

This is Dontnod's best game

You say that like that is a big deal. None of their games have ever been anything other than "another game that got released". Life is Strange is perhaps their best hit and that was mostly because it came out at a time where those episodic narrative games were popular.
