Thanks for reporting this and sorry for the delay.
The save files are stored using Windows isolated storage. They're a little bit tricky to find and this process is a little bit annoyingly complicated. I would like to come up with a more elegant solution at some point.
1. Navigate to C:\Users\antor\AppData\Local\IsolatedStorage\
2. Dig around in the randomly named folders until you find a file named PlayerDoc.txt. This file is the save file for demo or retail.
3. Dig around in the randomly named folders until you find a file named PlayerDoc.txt and then a bunch of PlayerDoc#.txt's. These files are for retail.
The PlayerDoc#.txt files are all backups in case your save file gets corrupted.
PlayerDoc.txt is the primary save file.
4. If your save file got corrupted, replace PlayerDoc.txt by renaming the most recent (by date modified) PlayerDoc#.txt to PlayerDoc.txt
5. If you're trying to transfer your save data from demo to live, replace PlayerDoc.txt in the retail folder with the one from the demo folder.
