got level 2!! almost three!

you need to read the codex... but its really hard to not kill it before harvest it.
TIPS: up the difficulty if you need.

Have you figured it out because for some reason my codex is refusing to tell me anything about this boss

You have to defeat it normally once then you get the codex, if it isnt unlocking then thats a bug.

You need to remove all its armour and let it create 6 scopes, while it has the 6 you can harvest it while it's flying.
Things to note-
1. Once you remove all the armour it's magic attacks get stronger.
2. To remove the armour on the back of its neck you need to burn the fur on its head.
3. Unlike the other 2 flying bosses this one won't shake you off if you try to harvest before crippling wings/legs.
4. It only creates 2 scopes per element and only creates scopes when it's aligned with that element so you may need to wait for it to cycle elements a few times before you can harvest.
