In fullscreen it looks like you should be able to change it, but no luck. In windowed mode there is nothing higher than 1680 x 1050.
Any luck Racer? I haven't found a solution.
I hope there are some people who are more knowledgeable about this who can give a concrete answer, but after having tested a few things out I think the Windowed Fullscreen option actually does run at the proper native resolution that we want.
When I switch to regular Fullscreen it becomes blurry. When I then quit in that fullscreen mode and edit the GameUserSettings.ini in %LOCALAPPDATA%\EternalStrands\Saved\Config\Windows\ to use the following settings and then go back into the game, it then runs the same as in Windowed Fullscreen for me:
ResolutionSizeX=5120
ResolutionSizeY=1440
LastUserConfirmedResolutionSizeX=5120
LastUserConfirmedResolutionSizeY=1440
DesiredScreenWidth=5120
DesiredScreenHeight=1440
bUseDesiredScreenHeight=True
Thanks for your reply and acknowledging, it's much appreciated.
Hope this can be fixed soon.
Happy to see that you keep working and improving your game.
Keep it up, I'm sure you can make it even better. Looking forward to it.
Sigh
That's UE5 for ya.
Oh that's actually disappointing.
I also tried it and the game crashed even once when I tried to change from fullscreen to border window.
It looks though with full screen borderless the set desktop resolution is used.
However I would prefer to select higher resolutions also for fullscreen..
I was able to select my native res after changing from borderless to fullscreen and back a few times.
