Inventory NEEDS to get increased
So far I'm liking the demo, the world seems cool and I enjoy playing something completely new.

The only reason I really haven't bought the game so far is the inventory, it's REALLY annoying. It honestly needs to either be infinite, or just increased 10 times. I like looting everything I come across (especially the materials), and having to go back to camp all the time just kills the fun of exploring.

I saw that it has extra 5 slots below the default ones.. but that seems super low as well anyways.

It needs at least 3 times the size it has now! We can't even collect one of each resource

The devs have said yesterday that they will increase the inventory in an upcoming patch. I'm hoping they do it for console versions too because I'm probably gonna have to buy it on PS5 due to my potato PC

The tiny inventory does nothing for the gameplay. It is *terribly* anti-fun. What is the point in returning to base again and again?
I'm assuming the entire point of the limited inventory space is precisely that - to make you return to base again and again. It's likely meant to increase overall playtime and make the most out of this random weather system the game has. Which is also why I wouldn't count on the devs increasing inventory capacity massively during patching.

Another way to handle this would be to keep the limited inventory, but allow players to send resources back to camp via loomgates without changing the map. But since this would, again, counteract what I assume is the point of the system, I'm guessing they wouldn't want to implement such a system either.

They have said they are looking into increasing the inventory, I replied to one of them on another thread and I suggested that each type should have it's own tab. So x amount of slots for woven, carving etc etc

I got hit by this on my first trip in the world. My pack was full so I didn't pickup red cotton not knowing I would need it for a quest back at base.
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Thank you. I'm enjoying the game, but for sure, either a setting to remove the restrictions or a retune would be awesome. I'm okay with a bit of resource grind, but this feels excessive to me.

I think the limit serves a purpose for what its worth (more zone variety, better sense of an 'expedition' + there's so many fast travel shrines...).

I wonder how many players just aren't upgrading their bags.
