Cannot save my game

Unexpected error when saving the game. How do I save? I reached the camp and I can travel to the first zone

Cannot save

I reached the camp after the intro and i tried to save and it says unexpected error. If I quit the game, it erased all my progress.

Same thing on game pass PC for me, 2 times tutorial and same error when manual save.

I drop the game because auto-save and manual save doesn't work. I don't want to start from beginning every time.

yes. i was at base camp after the tutorial when u fight the dragon. i refunded the game at the moment but i tried playing the demo again (was having the same issue before). i tried to go to the installed folder location and have the game run as administrator before launching it and now i can save again in the demo. im not sure if it is a fix though.

* What platform is everyone on? We're seeing Game Pass and Steam, but best to confirm on our end to help with investigations.

- It was error, but I doesn't remember what text exactly;
- Game Pass PC;
- My autosave was in Prologue, but I finished second area and crafted 2-tier gear.

Is there any way to restore progress after accidentally reverting to an old save file? I just went to save after around 6 hours, but accidentally clicked load instead of save, which deleted my autosave and all of my progress.

Hi there!

Can you describe the issue you're experiencing in a bit more detail? What happens when you try saving the game, do you get an error message?

If you could also provide:
- PC Specs
- Screenshots (if applicable)

Corrupted or disfunctional saving should be fixed now - if we need to reopen this for investigation we definitely will. We'd just need a better understanding of the problem to make sure we identify it correctly.

I don’t get an error message, there is only a pop up saying “an Unexpected Error has Occuredr” and that’s about it. Auto save doesn’t work either as I’ve gotten the item to teleport to base camp and it didn’t save after using it

For my PC I have a Omen Transcend 14, RTX4050, 16GB RAM and Intel Ultra I9 Processor

I have also noticed in the local game files that there isnt a single saved data folder at all

im just gonna refund again atp since it wont let me progress at all, ill buy it again when its on sale again / is fixed
