First Amateur Indie Project flop of 2025
Basic, generic and un-intuitive gameplay.
How many devs? A team of over 60 people?
Yeah, no risks taken, no innovative gameplay, no refined art style and feels like a soft launch into EA... but unfortunately, it is not.
Combat feels like a copy-paste afterthought based on a 2003 PS2 game (take your pic).
Full of ideas and working on execution? No, this is zero ideas and using UE generic game designs.
Drink your coffee, pay for marketing, enjoy your chairs for now.

You have a perfect tech demo for amateur hour in game development.

Hey there - thanks for leaving us your thoughts! Sorry to hear that the game isn't resonating with you.

No game is perfect (ours certainly isn't!), and it sounds like ours in particular didn't strike a chord with you. That's perfectly okay! We worked really hard to make a game that we always wanted to play, and in the end, we know that this comes with folks that will love the game and folks that won't like it. We'll take both sides of feedback, and continue to work hard to improve as a studio for this game and beyond.

They're just being a troll to you guys. The demo is teally good and his opinions don't represent most of us that have played the demo.

You guys made a game that resembles immortal fenyx rising without the obnoxious amount of puzzles. This is a good thing and the way you incorporated strands into combat is awesome. ( thank you for making them auto target enemies you have locked on.) and you also did something no other game seems to do. You can use powers WHILE on the walls lol.

Can't believe the devs even responded to this low effort topic instead of just deleting it. I just stumbled on the trailer and it looks quite good overall, a rarity for this type of game. Not everything needs to reinvent the wheel. If the gameplay feels well executed and fun, what's the problem? The bits i saw where you can use ice magic to freeze things and use telekinesis to launch other stuff is pretty cool tbh. And the upgrade system being about strands to power up your high fashion wizard robe is neat, instead of generic fantasy gobbledygook. There are a lot of fun ideas here.

It looks miles better and more playable than Immortals of Aveum at least lmao
