Default your settings if you have nvidia cards, this would show up no matter eventually with any unreal project. If may sometimes be anti malware or even administration.
Source: I make movies in unreal and have had to default my settings many times.
I'm a complete layman on the subject. Could you explain to me better how you do this?
Sometimes even just rebooting will solve it. I always default my nvidia settings when I get this error. I get it alot. Especially if I change a project during a test of another.
So make sure it runs in admin, I'd disable any kind of malware blocker for it or even just adding it as an exception and go and just check default settings to your nvidia and then do whatever you do to customize it.
My GPU is a AMD RX 7800 XT. I went to the game files and configured it to run as administrator, however, a bug occurs, when the notification to authorize execution appears, Steam cannot run the game and always asks for authorization. I will try to disable the firewall.
Yeah AMD I don't have much expertise on so I would direct you to this thread about the error because any fix I have is for nvidia sorry man. At best it could possible be user access rights since you got that prompt but I may as well be crystal balling here for AMD.

I just don't know what to do anymore. Will I have to quit the game?

**Game Crash Issue – RX 7800 XT – EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION**
Hi everyone,
I'm currently experiencing frequent crashes while playing *War Robots: Frontiers*. The game crashes with the following error message:
**"Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000000"**
I'm using an **RX 7800 XT GPU**, and I'm wondering if this might be a hardware-related issue. However, I’ve been using **RamMap** (a memory analysis tool by Microsoft Sysinternals), and I noticed something interesting: whenever I clear memory using RamMap’s options (like *Empty Working Sets* or *Empty Standby List*), the frequency of crashes decreases — but they still happen regularly.
Here’s a quick summary of what I’ve tried and observed so far:
---
**What I’ve Tried / Observed:**
1. **GPU Drivers**
- I’ve checked for the latest AMD Adrenalin drivers. If you’re experiencing similar issues, I’d suggest using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to completely remove old drivers before reinstalling the latest version.
- Optional drivers (non-WHQL) sometimes work better with newer games.
2. **Memory Behavior**
- My system’s RAM usage increases noticeably while playing the game.
- After freeing memory via RamMap, the game seems to crash less often, which makes me suspect some kind of memory leak or poor memory handling.
3. **Pagefile (Virtual Memory)**
- I’ve made sure the pagefile is enabled and properly configured. On systems with SSDs, having it set to automatic or allocating a fixed range (e.g., 4096 MB to 16384 MB) can help.
4. **Game File Integrity**
- I’ve verified the integrity of the game files via Steam.
5. **System & Overlays**
- I’ve disabled overlays (Steam, AMD, Discord).
- I’ve closed unnecessary background applications to free up RAM.
- I also tried switching between DirectX 12 and Vulkan (if the option is available in settings or config files).
---
**Additional Info:**
If the game provides crash logs or dump files (typically found in folders like `AppData` or `Saved Games`), checking those might help diagnose the issue further. I’d be happy to compare logs with others facing the same issue.
Is anyone else using the RX 7800 XT or similar GPUs experiencing the same crash?
Any additional suggestions or workarounds would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
