No, they don't have more passive perks, but you can choose which perks to use at each pilot level. These pilots also have the rarest and best perks. Like 15% crit chance.
So kinda pay to win

Not in the near future, they will have the gero pilots in the daily deals for credit after a certain date. The recent announcement gives information on what they are doing to make the game less predatory with the cash shop.

Hello, indeed with tomorrow's patch, Kate Sinclair will be available in the Store for 12,000 Credits. More Hero Pilots will be available to purchase for Credits in a future update.

You can read tomorrow's patch notes here: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1491000/view/520835140699555450

Since this is almost exactly an average of 10-hours of grind, for one pilot, at level 1, so she then requires leveling, I would like to humbly ask you a question please, if you don't mind. What approximate drop in Steam review score and player retention (in percentile points) would be interpreted as player base answering this pricing decision with a resounding "are you taking the fooken piss?"

Thanks in advance!

Jesus dude grow up. They are literally letting you earn them for free now and you people still complain.

You pick the traits they don't have them all all the time. It's a dynamic system. You get one trait per level but you can swap it around making them very useful.

They have no powers ABOVE common. You just get almost infinite combo's with a stable of heroes.

The person said 15% as a choice up there not as a default. No heroes have a default amount of extra damage. That's just one of the choices on I think....Ever? And isn't it a level 3 or 4 choice. Something like that.

They don't have innate bonuses.

i dont have a good score and assume it : even if it was really a pay to win , my cheapness or stingness have a cost and punishement.
its like if you played a demo and said its a pay to play game.
Sorry, but they will listen to the ones who play the game the most. Whales or those who depends on their wallets rather than playing a game, are not the majority. You are part of something that is no more than 20% of the community. If you are a whale, you are no more than 1% of the community.

The majority voice will win if a game wants to succeed. You are not the voice of the gamers.

Gotta remember steam is the minority for this game. I'm shocked they even pay attention to this forum. We definitely aren't the voice we're just a part of it. I said with nearly 200 hours in this game.

I think they take the data, but do not take anyone serious here.

And yes, Steam is not the primary client for population. I would say the consoles would be.

What is your definition of "pay to win"? These post-millennials throwing around the word p2w is laughable... xD

Oh you have something shiny'er than me... Which means obviously it's stats are better and gives you an advantage I don't have... xD
Its easy, something what gives you advantage in game, which can not be received in no way except real money. 15% critrate its actually huge.
Why you even asking, its obviously

But you can without cash. Pilot Wong has that ability and he is not a hero pilot. Got him the other day.

The game is not P2W

Hello, with yesterday's update we added a first Hero Pilot to the Store for 12,000 Credits. As mentioned in our latest Developer Update, in a future update we will also be Hero Pilots to the Common Pilot rotation at a cost of 8,000 Credits. We are listening to your feedback and working on keeping the game fair and balanced for all players.
