Let me pick what game mode I want to play.

Agreed. I don’t care if I have to wait 2 minutes, I already do that with crossplay off. We are already guaranteed a match after 2 minutes.

I find Warp Rush to be so darn boring that I've started to ALT+F4 after two in a row. I'm NOT doing it a third time. So yeah, a checkbox list of which gamemodes I can get matched in would be great, even if it means longer waiting times. I'm here to brawl Mechs, not run around like a crazy chicken and stand in circles.

No, under the current circumstances I see absolutely no way to implement game mode selection in any foreseeable future.

why would it cause an imbalance to place players in a pool that only want a certain game mode? That's totally lost on me.

It's not searching for a game when it's doing match making. It's creating a game.
Then it's grabbing players from the pool on match making and then it drags em to the game.
The game mode you are playing on has been decided the moment you enter match making.

To create a custom play list they would need to do 3 lists and THEN keep this list for making games. You would find yourself against bots alot of the time. Anyhow OP whines about literally every game they play. Type of guy who turns off his comments after posting garbage on your page.

Their post history looks like a karens yelp review of starbucks.

Warp rush really tanks the fun for me too...at least it should ve way less propability to be selected then TDM or Elimination.

In my experience, all other modes makes all mech builds viable. In Warp Rush the fast flamer mechs are the only thing you need. You can't snipe, since you won't take the Warp points. You cant Artillery, same story. You can't go heavy, since you're to slow. Fast, invoso, flamers ... win. ♥♥♥♥ mode.

And the Titans still ruin the fun in any mode.

I will keep ALT-F4 wihtout shame until you let us chose modes, and I'll keep hating Titans for their cheese.
