Known Issues (March 4 2025)
General
  • When playing with a gamepad, the in-game tutorial may not progress beyond the Workshop.
  • The tutorial may progress in the wrong order.
  • Newly purchased Factory Build Robots from the Store cannot be converted into Custom Builds.
  • Players are unable to create a new Robot Build when the selected Pilot is already assigned to another Robot Build.
  • The “scroll” prompt during the tutorial in the Workshop may incorrectly display vertically instead of horizontally.
  • When trying to create a new Custom Build after having reached the Custom Build limit, an empty error message will be displayed.
  • The Hangar Warp animation may be played even if the player cancels matchmaking.
  • Projectiles of “Ghost Turret” cannot pierce the water surface and hit enemies when placed below water.
  • The effects of the ability “Scrambler” remain active after the duration expires.
  • The Pilot Talent “Trigger-Happy” does not increase the rate of fire.
  • When pressing Spacebar and LMB in quick succession while in Spectator mode, players may become stuck in the Spectator mode and be unable to respawn.
  • Players may be able to access unintended locations with the “Blink” and “Warp Scythe” abilities.
  • Kills and Assists after dying do not add Honor.
  • In the Workshop, when editing the Titan “Matriarch”, the weapons are not properly centered on the screen.
  • In the Workshop, when editing a Robot’s appearance and adding Stickers, the camera zooms too close to the Robot when selecting certain Modules.
  • The explosion VFX of the weapon “Gemini” is displayed in front of the player firing them, instead of on the impact location.
  • The Job Board may display nothing under certain circumstances.
  • The VFX for the Robots’ Jet Packs may not properly play and flicker on and off.
  • The ability “Infinite Ammo” may remain active indefinitely when used.
  • The missile trajectories of the weapon “Vortex” may behave in unintended ways in certain situations.
  • When finishing the Tutorial, the “Victory” screen is not displayed.
  • Faction and Class icons are not displayed for modules and weapons in the Store.
  • The camera shake caused by being hit by certain weapons is too strong.
  • Under certain circumstances, Fenrir’s chassis may not realign after turning around and they continue walking backwards.
  • When unlocking Modules for the Grim Titan, the icons display Ares Modules.
    In the post-combat statistics screen, repairs provided by “Repair Drone” are not counted for repairs.
  • After being destroyed and respawning, buildings and other models may not load properly.
  • In the spawn selection screen, the weapon “Rampart” is not properly rendered and displayed too dark.
  • Grim’s ability “Snare” may attach to Lancelot’s “Battle Order”.
  • Medium, High, and Epic graphic settings are not always correctly applied to Robots in the Hangar.
  • The VFX for the ability “Warp Reload” is only visible for the player using it.
  • The maximum distance for the weapon “Rampart” is incorrectly displayed as 600 meters. The correct maximum distance is 520 meters.
  • The lock-on UI element on enemies may remain active indefinitely under certain circumstances.
  • When hitting enemies with the weapon “Scourge”, the weapon damage may sometimes be displayed as 0.
  • In the Warehouse, the ability classification tag is missing for “Blast Wave”.
Maps
  • On the map “Fissure”, jumping over water may cause the water to glow in bright green.
  • Players may run into invisible walls on certain parts of the map “Fissure”.
  • Collision hitboxes on certain parts of the map “Fissure” are not properly aligned with the geometry.
  • Some containers on the conveyor belts on the “Terminus” map are not destructible and push the players aside when colliding with them.
  • Players may get stuck when walking close to walls on the “Terminus” map.
  • On the map “Fissure”, AI opponents may explode immediately if shot from moving platforms.
  • On the map “Spectrum” rain splash VFX may be displayed in the air near the Dam area.
  • In the Firing Range, after destroying a Robot in the arena, the players’ Robots will be repaired. If spawning in a new enemy Robot before being fully repaired, the repair effect will remain active indefinitely.
  • In the Firing Range, healing abilities do not work on allied Robots.
  • In the Firing Range, when an AI Opponent places a Ghost Turret, the Ghost Turret will fire on the Bot that placed it when the player cannot be targeted.
Game Crashes
  • Editing .ini files of the game may lead to the game crashing.
  • Playing War Robots: Frontiers below the minimum recommended settings may lead to game crashes.
  • The game may crash when switching from Epic to Low graphics settings.
