Only 1000 players online?

So I want to try this game but I was wondering how long it takes to find a match first? This game only released a week ago but there are only 1000 people currently playing it.

Thats only steam numbers....I'm sure there are many more xbox players. I see mostly console players anyway in matches. 1 or 2 steam players per team....

You forgot this is Play station and Xbox that’s an entirely another set of player base. This is crossplay. So more then 1k. I find matches with full teams and no bots within seconds. Server is North America. I see more console players then PC if anything you can see who’s who in the scoreboard since they have a game controller next to them indicating they are console players

Okay so we steam players are a definite minority. I see more controllers on the scoreboard than I do pc players.

Like often times I'll see one pc on the other side and all controllers. Then it's like we PC players rut against each other harder than the console players get from us.

"I WILL PROVE I AM THE DOMINANT PC PLAYER HERE" type of deal.

The match time is so fast that often times I'll hit play..go grab something and hear WARP GATE ONLINE! just barely away from my desk. Then it's just a mad dash to the coffee pot/snack case.

Bro that's what I am waiting on haha WG got me on lock with all their games. I'll still play this because Steel is gonna be extraction but yep. Tried mecha break and it was bot town.

I was generally getting into matches full of players in a couple seconds on the US server. Matches started having a majority of bots and one and a half minute MM times when I reached the league rank of gold.

Nope.

And I hold a very mixed feeling for the game but p2w nawww.
There isn't a single part you can't earn.
Even the special pilots as was pointed out to me are just selective traits. As in you can pick them. But they hold no real special power over "common pilot".

All players have icons next to their names, controller is consol, a monitor is PC, and a little robot is a bot.
