Only 1000 players online?

So I want to try this game but I was wondering how long it takes to find a match first? This game only released a week ago but there are only 1000 people currently playing it.

That’s abysmally low for a live-service free-to-play game. But as others have pointed out, most players are on console. Most matches that I’ve played I’m literally the only PC player. This game is way more popular on consoles for some reason.

Of course it's not "alot" by greedy nowadays standards but it's more than enough especially if they dont fail their marketing plan with the crossplay too.

Again let's enjoy games instead of watcing numbers like come on.

Tho the ad i saw wasn't great tbh , i mean at least they didnt lie about the game but they didn't give it an epic and juicy vibe and they took the most boring looking ass gameplay and clips possible xd.

P2w is always bad,
but some form of P2W doesn't stop a game from being be playable and fun.

There isn't a single part you can't earn.
Even the special pilots as was pointed out to me are just selective traits. As in you can pick them. But they hold no real special power over "common pilot".

P2w isn't just about paywalled things rofl stop being weird.

if something take 1 years to grind but instead you can have it instantly for real life money it's p2w.

Now if this game is p2w atm im not sure i didn't play for a while and only played in the beta. But it was winnable , playable and fun when i played.

But if nothing islocked and they kept reducing the grind then i think its fine.

Tho parts and pilots having levels and thus having a chance to have a low level mechs and pilots vs a maxed one isn't very fun and can lead to form of p2w,

tho if even a low level mech and pilot can still kill normaly a maxed out players who paid then it's not a big deal.

as the name mean pay to win is when you canot win without paying : so its no way related to a grind time.
also i not remind the last time i seen a bot ingame maybe at the start match but not more.
yesterday i seen a majority of pc and today im the only pc player.
it depend of the time of the day i guess.
pers o if i was rich and not stingy i will not find a real advantage to spend money on this game because the shop is really scarce with or without money.
the sytarting weapons was super boring and if i never lacked of mech part i still strugle to find decent weapon combination even for melee im in trouble due to the lack of cycle shooting function i never use multiple of the same relaod time.

yeah i dont know i saw this in steam and installed it.. its a solid game when you come back from work and just want to have some uncomplicated time. i like it :) the search is betwen 1 and 10 sec

same for me except some rare disconection even before or after match its max10sec and the match itself last rarely 15min so a super casual very intense gameplay and lot of mind for finding good meta in lab.

It's been out in demo forever now.

You watched streams. Cool I played it. It's in my actual library.
Majority of games are full of AI. Falcons flying into walls etc.
"not even out yet" (ROFL). The best part of the game is the actual intro story.
Which by the way is also bots. Mechabreak has bots. No streamer wants to admit they've been hopping up down all hyped beating ai. I wouldn't.

It’s pretty fun. Kind of slow at first, but once you start getting more parts it gets a lot more fun once you can start building custom mechs. They just need to improve the shop a lot. The parts available for buying are completely RNG and you can’t always get what you want.
