Only 1000 players online?

So I want to try this game but I was wondering how long it takes to find a match first? This game only released a week ago but there are only 1000 people currently playing it.

Not P2W at all, im fully F2P and im crushing every game... MVP most times too, and even one uped players who did spend money.

i thinked the robot was android player on phone....is that not ?
my opinion is rich people are probably disgusted of the few they can get from real money.
actually i sighted only 2 weapons that i can buy and canot be crafted until lvl 35 or +
tought the random cycling of purchase can make them sort too ...i guess.
also found than the first weapon i can craft cost me less by gold than by iron that i buyed with gold.1280 vs 16000 ( 10 iron cost 1gold : not noticed discount with scale)

That’s abysmally low for a live-service free-to-play game. But as others have pointed out, most players are on console. Most matches that I’ve played I’m literally the only PC player. This game is way more popular on consoles for some reason.

Yeah meeting a pc player from across the field is like... a stare down. "I AM THE SUPERIOR PC PLAYER" type of deal every single time. Though one time me and this dude just broke off fighting to go hunt the lowest common denominator. "later bro" after like 2 minutes.

since i ranked lvl10 i barely not more see console player .
maybe after a time of experience they uncheck the cross play game option ?
or its me ? but i dont unchecked it so i have to verify.

Naw. I'm level 15 not a big level but enough to qualify. I mostly still see console. Makes me wonder if regional matters here since it looks for your location on boot up.

just played with 5pc and 7consoles.
i guess both region and level matter.
at least when enought players

I think so much players are on console because there isn't a lot of mech games like this one.

es it seem mechwarrior online also free to play is exclusive to pc.
also sniping is more easy with mouse and keyboard but from experience its hard to make scorewar robot serie games at long or medium range,
all slow moving mecha are victims and gamepad allow more dynamic control.
so probably most of pc player are bored before console players.

People preaching crossplay like it's some kind of godly savior. If there's 1000 players on 3 platforms it's still just 3 000 players.

seem console prefere the night hours in europ.

They only did open test and by the numbers of vids and streams i can say with confidence that it wasn't "bot town" at all
