War Robots: Frontiers

War Robots: Frontiers

Let's Build A Robot!
Except, you can't have your weapons how you want them, they weigh too much or there's not enough energy.

Oh, well, you CAN have them ~close~, but no abilities except your cabin, because not enough weight or not enough energy.

Well, you CAN have all your weapon slots full, AND your abilities, BUT you can't build the robot you WANT.

Who designed these building metrics? I mean, weight can't matter THAT much, when I can upgrade nearly everything. Don't give me BS about "realism", because here's a news flash:

These Mechs Wouldn't Support Their Own Weight.

Much less run, and jumping is outta the question.

So how about it? Wanna relax this absurdly stringent mass limitation so I can do ONE SINGLE THING in a fun way for a little while in your game?

Oh! Here you go, for free, just for you!

I'll edit this with the solution, one letter every day for however long it takes. We're focused on fair and balanced comments whether you pay or not...though you could get rid of this premium crap, upgrade the reward system, and nerf fire weapons to have a damage drop off at all if you want to speed it up in some places.

the building should be super fun, but it's just annoying. the illusion of freedom of choice.
Yep, I'm trying to build a hybrid of griffin and ares but the game won't let me because its too heavy, which is a weird mechanic in my opinion. They should change it so it isn't so impacting to your builds.

I know of no mech games without weight and energy limits. Maybe Mecha Break? Maybe?
But like that's the point. You gotta balance it man. Ballistics are heavier , energy is energy.
In mechwarrior you also gotta manage heat sinks etc.

I hate it. I hate so much but I get why it's there. You don't need 3 weapons. You want. Trust I get it. Using a phantom for a missile boat here. It's...not optimal. But I also need those recharging shields from persuer.

Without the cost power creep would reach crazy levels.

Yea, you're right.
You'll be the same person that makes another Hardcover novels worth of "complaint" about dude's running around with 5 Incinerators at 100+ KM/h.

It's called balancing.
We need to be able to use more power or weight and add more weapons it will make the game even more fun but each to its own im having a blast
