Is there a risk of another kernel-based anti-cheat?

Im really tired of writing off one multiplayer game after another because it comes with literal malware called "kernel-based anti-cheat". If this game won't have one, Im sold.

Well, unless they are breaking policy, it isn't a kernel based anti-cheat. That much HAS to be disclosed, per Steam policy.
