In-game chat?

Will this game have an in-game chat in the future? I want to communicate with friends and players.

Yes, that is also great. However, an in-game chat would be more convenient because not everyone has a good mic or in the mood to talk. Typing feels easier and less tiresome in most cases for me at least.

The lack of in-game chat is a huge problem with this game! You can't add people or bring them into the crew without already making contact with them, and they're all a total pain! The game itself is fun, but without social features, the whole thing is doomed to fail.

I hope they don't add it tbh, Voice chat is fine. I don't think i've played many games where the in game text chat has been useful at all. It's usually info that is no longer relevant by the time it's typed, or it's just people talking ♥♥♥♥ and fighting.

Yeah despite my engrish I still enjoy voice chat. Meet some silly people. I do wish I could add friend easier though.

More Social features would really be best. It is 2025 after all. People like to connect and communicate. Fascilitating this as much as possible will ensure players stay in the game and feel more like a community.
