But yeah hearing that tell tale "Enemy Titan" five times it really is the boss rush at the end of a moba just escorting it to the crystal type of deal. You love it but dread it.
I think titans should be on a timer like it's some special kill streak ability. Not like war robots where they play bought the actual titan. Now that was pure dread.
Knowing what human nature will do, should make you realize you need to build a giant killer for the crunch.
I always have 1 I reserve for that reason.
Yeah when I play careful and maybe lost 1 mech in the whole fight I will always not be able spawn a titan because it seems to charge on hit..not sure though. Be doing near 2 mil damage and just barely be titan ready near the end.
But if I hop nto my lance/griffin punisher hybrid I will always have titan up by the time it's gonna die and if it's capture warp time that just means I'ma summon titan to heal up my lance/griffin for next spawn.
If the player sucks, using a Titan does not change that.
I enjoy theory building and a good mech game give that fix. So far, this is good for that. The only problem I have is the Titans are limited to what you can do with them.
Unless we will eventually get parts to mod them, I just think they are a waste of space for those who want to experiment with builds.
Never know, the idea may start a different league to play in game. Something optional. Which would be beneficial to both sides.
You wanting to gate my opinion is a problem though. It shows you are threatened by the idea.
I would also rather take another regular mech over the Titan. It's so damn boring to play, boring to fight, and the last minutes of every match is a snore of a Titan fest. It doesn't make the game harder, it's just to predictable, and same old endgame over and over again with no variation.
All matches starts with excitement. What do they have? What does my teammates have? How should we do this? You improvise, you adapt and overcome. But endgame? Bleh, everyone in their titan, spamming oribital laser. Yawn!
I mostly am ultra agro with em. I know if you back down for a second versus a single titan you will die. I'll be spamming boost dodge like crazy just to run their clip out some.
Grim is a bit tougher to do that with but the same principle, if you have land mines grims life just got bad. Turn to side make a land of mines. Grims seem to move so fast that a lane of mines is absolutely the bane of em. But who uses grim.
