Will the story mode be expanded?

I was wondering if the story mode will be extended past the Mugen train arc,I kinda hope it does since the series more crazy fights happen after thst arc and I'd love to play them, and wanted to know if the devs said anything about it

Probably, no. You have to wait at least for the next Anime season to end. There is too little content to add. They probably will sell another game later in the future (like they did with Naruto).

There is like what 2 more anime seasons left (along with another movie maybe) until the end of the plot.
Like 20 more characters to add if we are counting comic relief ones like Haganezuka and others.
I think they would either continue with the dlc and then make a story expansion after anime ends or make another game.
But thats only my guess.
Game is still kinda fresh being only 1 year after it was released so there is still a lot that can be done with it before considering a sequel.

I personally really hope that we just get a story expansion when the anime ends. I don't think spliting the story in 2 games would be wise

Yeah would be cool and also easier on the devs when it comes to costs I think.
We will see what they'll do. Time will tell I guess.
