Game Plays like its in slow motion. Anyone else encounter / been able to fix this?
As it stands the game feels as though im playing it is Max Payne Bullet time. Everything when playing is incredibly slow and floaty. I'm not losing frames or skipping or lagging, it happens in every mode (story, vs, practice. Havent gone to vs online yet). The menus move normal speed and load fast, everything else moves quick and loads quickly but in combat itself its incredibly slow. The game auto set everything to max settings, ive turned them all down to low, medium, high ect, ive fiddled with all of the graphic settings in an attempt to get the fighting part of the game to run at a speed that isn't 2 people on tranquilizers trying to fight to no avail.

Specs : Windows 10 64 // Nvidia RTX 2070 Super // 3.6 ghz Intel I-7-9700 // 32gb Corsair 2133 mhz (2 16gb DIMMs)

Did you modify engine.ini? That cause problems with fps (we already have official patch for 60fps). If that is not the case, I have no idea whats wrong.

havent edited a thing. I just bought it today and at first thought maybe the game was just kinda slow and clunky until i looked at gameplay videos & asked friends who've played it.

I primarily play games like this with my friends & only got it on steam because i'm the main person in the friend group who buys fighters and remote play makes fighting games feesable when we aren't all together. If i cant manage to get the game to not be in matrix bullet time i may have to refund it and get it on console.

If feel like slowmotion is because your pc can´t get 60fps in game. Try play the game with 30fps config. If still feel like slowmotion, maybe your pc can´t run the game

my pc FAR surpasses the recommended system specs to run this game. at every setting on LOW with 30 fps the combat part of the game moves as though people are underwater. if there was a pc performance issue the game would have input lag, the menus would have problems, the game would load slowly, there would be stutters in the video ect. none of these things are happening. If i can run Doom eternal on ultra i should be able to run this on low.

Reduce Shadow in graphic settings in-game.

If you can also test to set the game in windows mode, go play a fight and check at the same time ressources used (CPU, RAM, GPU) by the game (2 process named with APK.exe) in your task manager.

That will help you to find what is the problem here.

Check also to unplug usb devices during fights to see if you see a difference.
Sometimes some usb devices cause slowdown or problems. We see a lot of problems with joysticks or controllers in this forum.

ive reduced all the graphics settings to low already, i have dual monitors & have had task manager running on the second monitor watching performance to see whats going on. CPU doesn't breach 20-25%, ram hits 1,500-1,800 , & GPU bounces around between 15-30% sometimes hitting 40% for the briefest of moments. If when flashy animations were happening the slowdown occurred i would think possible cpu/gpu issue, but standing there stationary the snow falls in slo mo, the characters idle movements are slow mo ect.

i do have a ticket into sega with DXdiag & msinfo so hopefully they can narrow down whats happening.

uh is that not the point the fighting is set to auto play in 30 fps so isn't this the main reason you feel like its slow because the frame rates are so low it even gives a prompt when going through the pvp tutorial how the game is set to 30 fps even in fighting so long as the opponent is using that setting Idk how well this correlates to the story bit but just what i think might be the issue?

I HAVE AN ANSWER

I occasionally have this same issue, and what's worked for me is simply restarting my computer. It happens when I unplug my computer or it's been a bit since launch, but if I notice it, I simply restart my computer and it fixes it.

Hope this helps.
