I lost my save data...

I finish this game and get the all S Rank in story mode in my old pc, then i get my new pc this weekend but i still use the old hdd .I move the steam file from the old hdd to my new ssd,today i open the game in my new pc first time,i lost all the save data,i have to play the story mode from the beginning!!!! WTF!?I have 14 hour play times in this game! Do you guys konw what happening?

Did you disable the steam cloud save for the game in properties of the game in your library ?

So you lost your save except if you didn't launch the game on your old pc or hdd and you have the time to disable steam cloud save for this game and get the savefiles in %localappdata%APK (depend of the storage disk where your operating system is installed)

I don't think so you need to find a savefile 100%

Hello! I recommend checking your local folder, as T-Asu800 suggested. You can also look here to see if the save file is still there: https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage

We can only recommend creating save data backups as The Hinokami Chronicles creates a single save file for your progress.

Ok, i checked,the save data is today, don't have other play record,only have today,i think my old records are really can't come back...

Sounds like when you started a new game on your laptop, Steam Cloud sync kicked in, overwriting your original save file. I've had that happen to me in other games after I bought a new PC and had to keep all my important save files on a USB drive just in case. Sorry to hear that happened. 🙁

This is just one of those games that doesn't cloud save when you swap computers. I had to upload some of my other game accounts to cloud but I wish I knew I had to do it with this game. In short, I have to do the story mode all over again. Nothing you can do to get your old account beside go to your old system, find the account file, upload it, then download it on the new system and paste it in the proper file destination.
