Except they don't. Just to cite a few :
Final Fantasy VII Remake, God of War, Spider-Man, Ghost of Tsushima...
All ran at 30FPS at launch and they are all fantastic games.
Having a higher frame rate is a nice option, especially when the gameplay really benefits from it, but that's it.
Even if "times have changed", if devs want to develop in 30FPS, it's their right to do so.
But then again, a 60FPS patch has already been confirmed for this game, so why is this nonsensical debate still going?!
on the other way - the entitlement of people who think 30fps is unplayable is more disgusting than anything the Publisher did as of now.
You do realise most people play on PC for high performance right? When the performance matches the consoles versions, you really don't think it's underwhelming for PC players that don't see their platform's strengths being used?
You know I don't know why i'm even bothering, you bought Jump Force and that tells me everything I need to know. As long as it's an anime game you're sold, so i'm out.
Have fun getting triggered by other people criticising a fighting game targeting 30FPS.
I wouldn't call it a "fighting game" in the traditional meaning of the term.
plus, jump force even if it lacks depth, is fun to play with friends. thats the entire thing you need to know - if fun then its good.
plus you play Cyberpunk. enough said.
When did I ever say it was unplayable, desiring something and saying something is unplayable are two completely different things, and I never said the latter I said the former. But again, you play Jump Force so it tells me enough about your level of intellect.
Oh and about Cyberpunk, I admit it's a crap game. Art and music direction are the only areas the game nailed which is far above anything Jump Force nailed which was nothing. You'll never see that game played again in my profile. Pretty sad though you had to scroll far into my Steam profile to find that huh, whereas Jump Force is right there on your profile as a shining example of your poor taste in games.
i also didnt say anything about you saying its unplayable, read the thread.
i didnt need to scroll down far, i just typed cyberpunk as a sheer example of lots of hours wasted. lets not forget the game, in some patches, was unable to be finished 100%.
Jump force did many things wrong, yes. but its also a lot of fun playing it with friends.
You're really gonna shame people based on the games they play lmao. Especially when you bought one of the biggest failures in gaming. Pretty sure everyone here has at least one average/maybe bad game in their library, I guess everyone is a dumbass by your logic, including you. Good thing the real word doesn't work like that and intelligence isn't based on games in your steam library.
Stop telling people "oh well god of war was 30fps when it dropped and it was fine" completelyyyyyy different genre and even in GOW the 60fps made it a completely different game. attacks and dodging became more accurate.
This game SHOULD be 60FPS at launch and they dropped the ball on that big time. Is it great that they're releasing a post-patch with it? sure it is but, they will still lose a lot of sales day one.
With that, I have played games with fps lock + connection delay in online + fps drops, and yet it was always possible to circumvent this and maintain combos, know when to block, counterattack etc.
And honestly even then I never found the 60fps necessary
And being very direct now, if you can't read what's happening on the screen, can't connect combos, block/counter correctly or anything like that, it's completely your fault for not having the ability to maintain and improve yourself in-game.
Now, give this discussion an end, this is not going to lead anywhere.
Whoever is going to play this game now, play and enjoy it. Whoever isn't, leave it alone or wait until the 60fps update comes out.
60 fps on ps4 ? No they didn't say it and it won't probably the case for the future patch.
