I heard Cruise missiles had a ~10km range, though they would need to be targeted and fired remotely, as that is outside your scopes tagging range.
Haven't tried as of yet, as most targets like to move. And missiles take a while to travel.
Walruses can shoot AA guns further than Seals?
Yeah, I have an alb fly ahead of me and use its camera to bring in cruise missiles as my carrier is approaching the island
(Fly by wire is an aircraft control system on the aircraft itself that sits between the controls and the aircraft control surfaces etc and sort of manages the pilot inputs to better match the performance characteristics of the vehicle. E.g. the reaction control system on the Bell X-15 that allowed it to be piloted in space similarly to an atmospheric plane, even though space maneuvering works very differently)
I'll have to try flying it around in a circle to see if it has fuel limits too.
Also, "firing" a TVGM while you're flying it detonates it, which is handy if you miss the target and can't circle around for another try.
