I think that's what has upset a lot of people.

Christ, I get why Alex was adamant the community not nominate Starsector for Steam Greenlight back in the day, your kind would have been the death of the game, because he focuses on his work instead of pushing out useless updates, and updates once, maybe twice a year. The only other communication for those who refuse to use discord, are to deliberately go to the site and check the news section, so steam forum addicts would cry dead game because they aren't having news shoved down their throat in lieu of checking up on a game as a sign they actually care about the game's development through action and not worthless words.

I defended this game quite a lot, and when the dev said It's not over and then pretty much just dipped out for a very long time, to work on their older game to drop a DLC, it left those hoping to see the issues they introduced with their last patch be resolved in a lurch.

For many that does kinda indicate abandoned game, and you can stop preaching, we're on the same side here. They were on their own fourm, not discord BTW, and I've got a lot of posts and debates over there.
